HB 377, one of four Common Core bills introduced in the Montana House of Representatives, has been initially endorsed by the House on a 55-45 vote.  State Representatives Debra Lamm (R-Livingston) is the sponsor of the legislation which, if passed, would basically void the Common Core State Standards and establishes an “accreditation standards review council” that would determine new standards.

The bill was sent to the House Appropriations Committee for another hearing before it faces a final House vote.
