This week the Arizona House of Representatives voted 34 to 23 in favor of HB 2190 that would replace the Common Core State Standards if it becomes law.
The Arizona House Education Committee voted 5-2 in favor of advancing HB 2190, a bill that would block the Common Core and PARCC from being used.
There are two bills in the Arizona House of Representatives that if passed would forbid the use of Common Core, PARCC and any attempt to rebrand them.
