Wisconsin Common Core Public Hearing Today

COM_130522_JNT_EDUToday at 10:00a their will be a joint hearing with the Wisconsin House and Senate Committees on Education at the Wisconsin State Captiol in Room 411 South.

Those who have been invited to testify are:

  • Daniel Thatcher, Senior Policy Specialist, National Conference of State Legislatures
  • Karen Schroeder, Advocates for Academic Freedom
  • Kathleen Porter-Magee, Senior Director of High Quality Standards, The Fordham Institute
  • Joy Pullmann, Education Research Fellow, Heartland Institute
  • Aaron Sadoff, Administrator, School District of North Fond du Lac
  • Janet Busboom, Citizens Advocating Responsible Education (CARE)
  • Ted Nietzke, Superintendent, West Bend School District
  • Tracie Happel, Teacher & Education Commission of the States Commissioner
  • State Superintendent Tony Evers (or his representatives)

  1. Porter-Magee is giving me a headache. How in the heck has she convinced herself that the Obama Administrations DOE is acting in a hands-off manner when it is doling out the money?
