    MT is currently in the process of funding this(SB 175) after the dept of ed adopted it last year. The legislators, both democrats and republicans, claim they have no choice but to fund it as MT dept of ed already has it in place. As far as I’m concerned if this bill passes then the voters of MT should vote down every mill levy request at the next election May 7 2013. Let them use the common core money for their”leaky roofs” & whatever! After all we’re told it’s up to the local school level’s discretion to adopt these standards or not. .

    BTW the sound drops for a few seconds then goes back on around the 11:09 minute mark. So be patient.
