The Common Core Matrix

LakeExpo.com featured a flowchart on their website announcing a presentation from Jill Noble of Concerned Women for America of Missouri. Karen Bracken from Tennessee gets the credit for the flow chart. This should be a useful resource.

Update: Karen Bracken offers an explanation for what the colored lines, etc. mean:

  • White lettering inside a box=funded by Gates.
  • Red lettering inside a box=supported by ALEC
  • Red connecting line=partners
  • Green connecting line=funding
  • Blue connecting line=affiliation

  1. Thanks for posting the Matrix. Just some information pertaining to the flowchart. This flowchart was created from a huge white paper created by Morna McDermott of educationalchemy.com I took her huge white paper and with the use of colored coded connecting lines attempted to tell the story in a 1 page flowchart. I also blew this chart up into a poster and used it for presentations on Common Core. The one thing that was not captured in the article is the definition of the colored lines on the chart.
