The assessment opt-out movement in New York is alive and well and growing as students take the Common Core ELA Assessment this week.
The Wall Street Journal points out the “soccer mom” revolt against Common Core, and in particular, the Common Core-aligned assessments.
Based on numbers collected by NJEA, PARCC refusals in New Jersey appear to have topped 40,000 so far and they say more numbers are coming in daily.
